Today I started hanging my artwork and designing how I am going to display the "experience" of seeing my work.  I have over 45 paintings, about 1/2 are botanical illustrations and 1/2 are botanical art.  The Texas medicinal plants painting are still at the Boerne Visitor Center until the end of August so I still have about 9 days to put things together.  I hope to be able to enlighten people on the skills of botanical illustration, the fun of wet-on-wet watercolour, some travel stories and medicinal plant knowledge.  I feel like I am going out with a bang since I arrived in Texas last summer and am soon off for yonder horizons again come the Fall with these two local Boerne shows...so fulfilling and rewarding, makes me feel like I have a real home to come home to that I have created a life in...yippee!
